Reclaimed Pallet wood allotment shed
here’s a couple of pictures of an allotment shed made from reclaimed pallet wood by one of our customers. The wood is stripped by us from large pallets used to transport plasterboard and measures approximately 4″ x 1″ (100mm x 22mm) although sometimes the boards are wider
A simple frame is made using 2″x2″ (50mmx50mm) reclaimed timber and painted to give it some weather protection. the walls incorporate a waterproof breather membrane to keep the rain out.
The completed shed, resplendent with a pair of doors fished from a local skip and a weatherproof corrugated plastic roof. A great example of how reclaimed pallet wood can be used to make an affordable shed for any allotment!
Here’s another pallet wood shed project, this time inspired by the end of the Mayan Calendar …
